Exits: Northern Wastes (General)
Located in the Northern Wastes, the Frozen Sea is a vast expanse of water covered by a thick layer of ice. Not much is known about this area, and most view it as uninhabitable and basically useless territory. Its temperatures are frigidly cold and there are virtually no distinguishing features, besides ice and snow. Few creatures can survive its harsh climate, and frankly, very few would have the desire to try.

Exits: Frozen Sea, Pike's Castle, Ice Cave, The Spine (Provas Kingdom), Wracod City (Wracod Kingdom)
The northern wastes are a harsh yet beautiful site. Pillars of ice twist around and protrude from the snow. The pillars tend to be in clusters that form gardens of pristine crystal clear ice. The untouched snow sparkles in the perpetual night. Traveling the waste lands is a tough prospect; the only "ground" is the thick layer of ice that the snow rests upon. The ice layer is uneven, creating depths of snow ranging from 2 feet all the way to 40 feet deep. Few creatures inhabit this wasteland, but many live inside the underground tunnels which were built by humans so they could survive in the waste land. They are known to travel out to the surface to hunt some of the creatures that live there and to cultivate snow to make fresh water with.

Exits: Northern Wastes (General)
Home to the Northern Waste’s ruler in title only, Pike, this castle is surrounded by miles of empty snow drifts. The structure is one story high, and stretches over about three-quarters of an acre. It is made of bleached looking limestone bricks, has no windows, and only a single doorway with a wooden door that is hinged at its base and opens by swinging downwards.
The inside of the structure is one large room separated into sections by fur curtains. There is little actual furniture aside from a few plank tables and some seats carved into the stone of the building’s walls, but the floors hold many fur mats to be used as seats. Animals bones are scattered in curtained off corners. A massive fireplace is embedded into the stone floor at the center of the building. A few feet behind the fireplace sits a throne made of animal (and humanoid) bones, and padded with fur. A mat made entirely of humanoid skin sits at the foot of the throne.
Various barbarian tribesmen, dressed in fur, wander around the structure, going about their daily routines. If they are Pike’s guards and servants, they don’t seem to realize it, as they act exactly as if the building where their property. Larges dogs and overweight cats with a similar mindset move leisurely from one meal to another, picking the meat off the discarded bones, and begging for scraps from the barbarians.

Exits: Northern Wastes (General)
This cave exists within a mountainside in the Northern Wastes. The cave entrance is a jagged opening that’s about six and a quarter feet tall and twelve feet wide at its base. Inside the cave is about the size of a small house, and full of columns of semi-translucent blue ice that extend from the floor to the ceiling in random places within the cave. A seven inch coat of this same variety of ice covers the floor, walls, and ceiling.
Frozen within the coat of ice and the columns in various places are weapons, shields, pieces of armor, and various other random items. A circular metal base sits on top of the ice floor in one spot. It is about fourteen inches in diameter, and five inches high. On the sides of this base are several small level, buttons and dials. There are no other signs of habitation by humans or animals.
((Experimentation with the base will show that using the right combination of buttons and levers will cause a pillar of blue ice to extend from the ceiling to the base. Anyone standing on the base at the time will be frozen and preserved, but not killed. Equipment will be frozen, but not destroyed. The dials can be used to set the duration of the freezing.))
