Temple of Setial Provas

Exits:  Provas Capital

The Temple of Setial Provas is located in an open square at the center of Provas City, directly across from King George’s castle. The Temple serves as both ultimate holy place and pilgrimage destination for worshipers of Setial Provas and as the governmental center of the nation of Provas. The King meets here with the clerics and paladins that make up the Provasian government to make the nation’s laws and decide how they will be enforced. Each of these meetings begins and ends with a group prayer for guidance at the Temple’s alter.

The Temple itself is a sizable structure made of blocks of weathered grey stone taken from a quarry within the Spine. The one level building has a traditional cathedral shape, long and relatively thin with a set of oak double doors at its front and a bell tower extending upwards from its rear. Seven foot tall stained glass windows line both sides of the building, nine on each side. On the right side of the building all of these windows bear the images of crocodiles dressed in the traditional style of renaissance era royalty, with the words “King George” under each of them, and a roman numeral starting at “I” near the cathedral’s entrance and continuing to “IX” at its rear. The line of windows on the left contain a more varied assemblage, containing, from front to back: A gold dragon with a holy symbol larger than his fist hanging from his neck (there is no name under this image), a man in the dress of traditional Provasian paladins with his visor down and a group of ragged looking refugees in the background with “Wracod I” written at its base, another paladin with his sword drawn protecting an adolescent gnome and the name “Kolm Wracod” under it, a man with his back turned to a crowd preparing to pelt him with stones bearing the inscription “Every Martyr”,  Another stereotypical paladin leading an army on horseback against dirty looking peasants with sticks with the words “Every Hero”, a man walking in the snow holding a child in his hands above the name “Palladium”, and three others depicting the first pilgrimage of settlers to Dykal, the crowning of the current King George, and the construction of the temple itself.

The interior of the Temple consists mainly of the large sanctuary with lines of pews on either side, a purple carpet running down the isle, and a candle surrounded alter made of the same stone as the building itself at the rear. A small doorway behind the alter leads to the bell tower’s stairway. Two other small doorways on the side walls near the front of the cathedral lead to the priests’ living quarters. A wooden hatch in the floor directly below the alter and marked with the holy symbol of Setial Provas opens to a narrow stone stairway leading to the catacombs below the church were tombs house the remains of various important individuals, including most of those depicted on the windows, whose previous graves had been excavated following the construction of the Temple so that they could receive more significant resting places.

Provas Capital City

Exits:  The Spine, Sil'Phanthil HQ

Provas City is a large medieval kingdom located in northeastern Dykal. A deep moat encompasses the totality of Provas city and the drawbridge is currently down. The city is completely surrounded by fortified stone walls supported by iron buttresses and topped with a stone parapet. Ramparts extend approximately three meters above the base of the walls. The walls of the city are surrounded by a tall wooden palisade that is broken in several areas, but still offers some protection against attackers. Several towers stick up at seemingly random positions along the outer walls. The inner walls are slightly taller although not quite as wide as the outer walls and are also topped with a parapet, this one wooden. A single massive iron gate provides passage to and from the city, and several guards can be seen patrolling the area. Several sally ports are present along the front wall, all closed at the moment. The barracks are located in the northwest section of the city and a large number of warriors, mostly paladins can be seen training and conversing. Many people, some on pilgrimages others simply traveling or come to see the city walk along the roads, a steady trickle going to and from the city.

The Spine

Exits:  Sil'Phanthil HQ, Provas Capital, Sylvan Lands (Sylvan Lands Kingdom), Xill City (Xill Nation Kingdom), Allom Gon (Allom Gon Kingdom), Adaven Capital Building (Adaven Kingdom)

Intervening itself between Provas and Wracod runs a massive mountain range from pole to pole known as The Spine. This colossal construction of rock is nearly impervious to any attempts of crossing, whether it be from the extreme weather conditions, the dangerous environment, or the particularly nasty creatures that might call this place home. Very few merchants dare these massive creations, even at the poles where the mountains mellow to merely passable. Aside from the ragged and jetting rocks and the terrible falls that could await travelers, the threat of being eaten alive is fairly unattractive. The mountain is littered with mountain trolls, bugbears, and packs of goblins. About the only halfway decent life forms that inhabit the mountain are small packs or tribes of halflings. Whatever the danger, only the very brave or the very foolish cross this region.

“Those who work hard play hard”: This is a place for members and guests of the guild master to relax and be at ease. Drinking, Eating, or whatever, you can do as you like to enjoy the off time.

This is a three story Hall with there levels, with the centre of the Hall being a massive spire going though all three floors allowing a view of all floors from each floor.
Each floor is similar to any other. The hall is filled with chairs and tables (( food and such are served by three female drow, and there is also two Halfling cooks and a Tiefling bartender.) The first floor is different from the rest, as it has a large glass dome on the floor that is around 20ft in radius and looks down on the Combat and training area of the Guild. This dome is visible from all floors.

Riacel’s Grove

Exits:  Xill Desert (Xill Nation Kingdom)

Riacel’s Grove: Riacel’s Grove, located near Provas’ southern border with the Xill Nation, is the home of the druid Riacel Neloc. The grove, bordered by a ring of imposing deciduous trees from which hang lengthy barbed vines that twitch towards and seek to ensnare unfamiliar visitors. Beyond the trees, the interior of the grove mostly resembles a conventional forest clearing with the usual assortment of wild ferns, grasses, and flowers as well as the conventional amalgamation of small woodland animals, such as snakes, badgers, and chipmunks. Near the western edge of the grove a single patch of ground, approximately an eight foot by eight foot square, has been cultivated, and tall, distinctive five-leaved plants, clearly marijuana, are growing there. A natural pool, providing irrigation for crops and a reflective surface for scrying, exists at the geometric center of the circular grove. A sod house with a short semi-circular wooden door and two pane-less windows on either side of the door, the sole artificial structure, has been constructed at the Southern border of the grove.
